Wrong. Sterling was ignored by Ethan who was just a straight up pig. I honestly don't get why she stayed with him. The entire time I was yelling at her in my head to step away and run. The first clue to run should have been when they were out to dinner one night and he ordered a mushroom burger because his trainer wanted him to "stay fit". I would have fled right there. Throughout the entire book it shows how Ethan changed, I guess? But I think that he was always that way and him becoming famous was just the tipping point to show his true colors. He completely ignores Sterling and disregards her dreams of becoming a chef and making videos for cooking on youtube when she was completely supportive of his dreams since forever. When she tells Ethan that she is thinking of making a video diary he thinks it is for him and then when she explains he calls it stupid. Honestly, why didn't she run there? That is what got me pissed at this book. Here she is, a girl who is living an amazing life. She has a rockstar boyfriend and gets all of the designer clothes but she is not happy. All the girls pretend like they know her boyfriend better than she does and ignore her existence. And so does Ethan! He completely and totally ignores Sterling. I get that he is famous and you get awesome clothes but I would have left immediately. And I guess it is no surprise that Sterling starts to talk a lot to Damian who works on the concert sets. But I really didn't like him either. Yeah, he was there for her and all, more than Ethan was, but still... He's about twenty and works as a groupie basically for different bands... I was glad When she didn't agree for Damian to come with her to college. I mean, that was way too fast! He was all, There's a concert center where you are, I could work there and finally settle down in one place instead of moving all over the place... You can finally be my anchor, Sterling. Ok. Well maybe it didn't entirely go like that. But it was close. And I can't believe that out of all the crap that Ethan did to Sterling that it took him sleeping with another girl to break up. I mean, where is her self respect! I would have left him sooner. And thank god she didn't take him back at the end. I would have died if she did. Oh, and her friend was such a b@#$%! I get that they were friends and all but if my friend ditched me for people who were mean to her just because they "Showed her attention" I would have been all like ok. Buh-by now. Her friend was jealous of Sterling I guess but I would have thought her friends to be more supportive... And I guess she was mad at Sterling ditching her for Ethan but when she asked for those autographs for the people who were so mean to her and Sterling I would have stopped being her friend. Sterling had little back bone and she only found it when it was about to break. And her friend also had a weird plant obsession and so did Sterling a little bit. I mean , there was a plant funeral in the book which was just plain bizarre. Ok. Well sorry for this little rant. I give this book 2 1/2 running shoes out of five.

I finished it in under a day. Anne was smart and funny and sassy... I just loved her. The mystery in this book was really great and kept me guessing until the very last page. The romance was sweet and cute but not cheesy... I also liked how it didn't revolve around romance but the murder, and how it was just something that was there but not barely there. Anne is my new favorite heroine and I can't wait till I get my hands on the next book...which is already out... And the third book which should be out in August! I liked how Anne could come up with snappy comments on short notice, but a thing I didn't like was now she barely connected with anyone.... That is not of the male gender. She kept blowing Remy off which made me sad because she seems like a nice friend for Anne. If you like fast paced adventure where you are guessing till the last page, this book is for you! And if you like guys who ride motorcycles and who are named Anthony read this book! Can you already tell that I want Anne and Anthony together? No? Well I do. Fans of gossip girl and Veronica Mars will love this trilogy! Four and 3/4 out of 5 running shoes

And it has everything to do with why they broke up, why they can't get back together, and how, in spite of it all, this couple is destined for each other. ***************************************************************************************************************************** I remember reading Lauren Barnholdt all the way back in middle school when I read her book, the secret identity of Devon Delaney. That book was filled with enough drama and lies to get me really into reading, so I thank her for that. While wandering the library shelves, I (thank fully) stumbled across this book. Two way street is about the very complEX (haha, get it? Ok...no? ) relationship of Courtney Mcsweeny and Jordan. Because they were both going to Boston Uni, while dating, they decided that they will drive together.... to Boston from Florida... But then they break up, due to something Jordan saw when he went home early from a party, involving Courtney's dad and Jordan's mom... Talk about drama. Even though they are broken up, they still go, and the trip is filled with enough tension but not too much, and some revelations and heart felt talks to make it awesome and sweet. The flashbacks were a nice touch but left stuff un answered and there were some holes in the book...for example, when the hell was Courtney's ID stolen? But overall, it was pretty good. Cons:The flashbacks left some stuff unanswered The holes Confusion at times Pros:I thought that Courtney and Jordan's relationship, although complex, was very cute in the end Uhmmm, it's a road trip book. I love those kinds of books Jocelyn and B.Js relationship was very funny Stars: 4 1/2

Firstly, the cover jumped out at me first. The braid was so pretty, yet haunting. In this book we follow 13 year old Kyra. Kyra is a polygamist and is isolated from the outside world. Kyra has 20 brothers and sisters and her father has three wives. In the book, these wifes are called Sister wifes. Kyra visits the Library on Wheels which is forbidden because books were banned. She secretly reads them in a tree, or in her family van. Kyra secretly visits her crush, Joshua. They both hope to choose each other instead of Kyra having a man appointed to her. However, everything changes when the prophet visits her family saying that he had a vision from god of Kyra and Hyram, her 60 year old uncle. She is to be wed to him even though he is family, 60 years old, and already has 7 sister wives. Her father tries to talk the prophet out of it but each attempt fails. Kyra tries to run by fails the first time with patrick, the man who drives the Books on wheels truck. She tells Patrick her story, and he offers to help her. She obliges, but the plan is foiled by the god squad. She is surprized when she is just returned to her family, because the last girl who tried to run was killed. She attemps again later on with a spare key in the truck that Patrick told her about. The god squad is hot on her trail, and then the phone that Patrick told her about makes a sound (Chirrup) like he told her it would. She calls the police and the god squad is arrested. Kyra is then put in a foster home. Her foster mother ran away from another colt and brought her child with her. (her child is now around Kyra’s age) She told Kyra that she missed her family too (Not her sister wives) and it was hard even with her child, so she told Kyra it might even be harder for her. Kyra misses all of her siblings, mainly Laura and her baby sister. The ending is nice. Kyra is going to someday look for Joshua (Who had to leave along with a few others) a tree is scraping across the window (I forgot the name, but its the name of the tree that Kyra reads in). I give this story

Some parts make you laugh, cry, and boil in side due to pure anger. such as (How can that happen! She is a girl!) I really hope that this doesn’t happen in the US, other wise i will go to the nearest one and rescue all the girls from this happening.
